   5. povinnost : responsibility, duty. Note that there is a difference between the two, but I don’t really remember what that difference is.
   
   
   6. výběr : a choice. This is one of those words that looks a little bit strange and you just have to memorize.
   
   
   
   
   
   7. šance : a chance. Ugh. Duh. But that problem I have is more of knowing which pád it is.
   
   
   
   
   8. dávka : a dose, a burst. Maybe just...think of the dove representing the Holy Ghost at Christ’s baptism bursting in suddenly. Maybe that is a really stupid mnemonic device. Well. Aren’t they all.
   
   
   
   
   
   9. omezení : limitations. This is kind of a false looking cognate. It looks like mezi. But perhaps that is not the right cognate.
   
   
   
   10. zdejší : local. For some reason, this always seems like it should mean, “current.” I guess I am mixing it up with nynější. Not the same. Zde. Like, here. In this place. As opposed to nyní, now. Okay. I can remember that.
